Built in the Renaissance style, between 1629 and 1691, the church situated 500 meters over the sea level (in the Tramutana Mountains) is a pilgrimage point for Christians all over the world. The monastery is well known because of the Moreneta, a famous sculpture which is believed to make miracles.
